History of the Order
• Founded by Godfrey of Bouillon after the First Crusade in 1099;
• Organized to protect pilgrims journeying to the holy places of Jerusalem;
• Today, the members dedicate themselves to:

- personal sanctification,
- fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church,
- support of the Christian community in the Holy Land.
