The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem Western USA Lieutenancy (“EOHSJ-WL”) understands that you care how information about you is used and shared. We appreciate your trust. We will protect your privacy and use any information submitted through our Website carefully and sensibly.
How does the EOHSJ-WL protect personal information?

A member of the Lieutenancy who refuses both postal mailing and e‑mail communications from the EOHSJ-WL will be deemed to have resigned from membership.
Persons who supply the EOHSJ-WL with telephone numbers on-line or by other means may be assured that his or her telephone number will be kept in confidence by the EOHSJ-WL and used only for the purpose for which you supplied it. Phone numbers will not shared with other organizations.
The EOHSJ-WL makes available to all members the name, address, and contact information of all members of the EOHSJ-WL (for example, via a ‘Roster’ in the members-only area of the Website.)
What is the difference between private and personal information?
Personal information is considered to be names, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth and any demographic or preferential information you may disclose for the purposes of online interaction, identification or participation in any EOHSJ-WL program or event.
Private information is considered to be financial information such as credit card or bank account information, social security numbers, health information, immigration status, communication indicated as confidential, or any information that is not routinely collected as a condition of participation in EOHSJ-WL programs or events.
The EOHSJ-WL assigns a higher priority and a greater level of protection to private information over personal information.
Requests by law enforcement agencies for information about Website users deemed by EOHSJ-WL legal counsel to be legitimate and not in violation of constitutional principles will be supplied to law enforcement agencies.
Any user of this Website indicating, threatening, admitting to or representing an act in violation of the law on this Website or through an e-mail link contained on this Website will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
What if I have a problem?
In addition, the EOHSJ-WL is involved in many events. At times, pictures, videos, and audio recordings may be made and sometimes placed on this Website or in other communications of the EOHSJ-WL. By attending such events, including Annual Meetings, Masses, pilgrimages, and retreats, you consent to be video and audio recorded and your picture to be taken.
