About the Area

The Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City comprises the entire State of Utah which is home to over 300,000 Catholics, 48 churches, 20 missions, 3 chapels, 5 stations, 3 Newman Centers, a monastery, the Cathedral of the Madeleine and 16 Catholic schools. There are over 60 members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in the Salt Lake Area including Bishop Solis and several clergy members. Our members regularly attend Rosaries held each month and often attend and support diocesan-wide spiritual events. 

Upcoming Events:
The Salt Lake Area will be making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, led by Bishop Solis, in October, 2024.  Members as well as non-members are welcome on the pilgrimage.  The Salt Lake Area will be hosting the 2024 annual meeting for the Western Lieutenancy and area members are preparing a welcoming event for all members and visitors.
