New CEO of the Latin Patriarchate

The new Chief Executive Officer of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem brings decades of experience in international development and institutional finance to the Church’s work in the Holy Land.
Dear Knights and Dames,
The Holy Land leadership transition we have been following for the past weeks is now complete. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem announced on September 1 that Johny Zeidan has assumed his duties as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Sami El-Youssef, whom he met as a bright student at Bethlehem University.
In his new role, Mr. Zeidan will oversee the patriarchate’s administrative, financial, and institutional affairs. His career includes several years with development agencies managing multi-million-dollar development initiatives, alongside executive leadership in commercial banking, bringing deep expertise in institutional finance, donor compliance, and large-scale educational program implementation. In the days before taking office, he met with the directors and staff of the patriarchate’s offices to understand the priorities and needs of each department.
The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem wishes Mr. Johny Zeidan every success in his new role and prays that his service will bear abundant fruit for the Church, its mission, and its people.
