In keeping with our mandate to provide consistent opportunities for spiritual enrichment for members of our lieutenancy, our Spirituality Team publishes quarterly downloadable newsletters. We highly recommend that you take some time to read this issue in its entirety.

Welcome to the Summer 2026 Spirituality newsletter. Although the war and unrest in the Holy Land continue, we should trust that our prayers and petitions for peace, along with the power of the Rosary, will influence leaders to support God’s will. With this in mind, we continue our journey in the “Rosary Unpacked” series. The focus is on the Apostles’ Creed in this fourth installment. Sir Kevin McClenahan offers us powerful insights that help us see the Creed in a new light and encourages us to incorporate its meaning into our daily lives. We also continue the five-part series on the unique spiritual virtues of the EOHSJ. The focus here is virtue #2: rooted in prayer for the Holy Land, Queen of Palestine, and the saints of the order. Finally, in response to your request on the history of Christianity in the Holy Land, we have an essay on the first 100 years.
