General Events

All-member Meeting

Year in review update from our Executive Council. Learn about all the great programs our Order and Western Lieutenancy have accomplished during the year.

Saturday Dinner Event

Dinner Party “Top Gun Night” — San Diego is the birthplace of the original Top Gun program, and this year’s Saturday dinner celebrates that heritage. Dress in character, claim your call sign, and get ready for a night of great food and fun activities.

Grand Ball

All members come together to close out the Annual Meeting with our Grand Ball. Preceded by the Investiture Mass and the opportunity for professional formal portraits, the Grand Ball is an opportunity to culminate the weekend in celebration of member Investitures and Promotions, in consolidation of our objectives for the year, and in camaraderie developed over the previous few days. Formal wear is the dress attire for this year’s Grand Ball. Please click here for Dress Guidelines.

Ministry Fair & Vendor Events

Running in tandem with many of the hospitality and registration events, a hall will be opened to members of ministries to celebrate the many ways in which they have furthered their service to the Church and Christians of the Holy Land through the intervention of EOHSJ. Additionally, the Order is blessed with a myriad of service providers and product merchants who provide benefits to members themed around pilgrimages, the Holy Land, the Church and EOHSJ. Please take some time to browse the tables and connect with these ministries and vendors, and learn about what has been accomplished and what more we can do.

The Most Reverend
George Leo
Thomas, Ph.D.

Seven Signposts

Archbishop George Leo Thomas will further explore the seven distinctive signposts from his publication, Seven Signposts: Inspired by Vatican II and Pope Francis, discussing how they can enrich our spiritual journey as members of the Order.

In Seven Signposts, Archbishop Thomas draws on the pastoral vision of the Second Vatican Council — energized by the pontificate of Pope Francis — to identify seven mile markers that orient the life of the Church: the universal call to holiness, shared responsibility and synodality, the primacy of Word and Sacrament, the inseparability of worship and justice, and more. Members are encouraged to attend this talk ahead of the Investiture Mass as a final reflection on our calling as Knights and Dames of the Order.
